About The Collab Lab

The Collab Lab is a diverse makerspace designed with SFCC students, staff, and faculty in mind.

Our ultimate goal is to provide opportunities for students across the Missouri area to learn and experience manufacturing skills and help bridge the gap between skilled workers and the Missouri industrial job force.

Come collaborate with us!

SFCC students, staff, and faculty receive hands-on support for a variety of projects, including integrating the equipment and concepts into lessons, facilitating brainstorming sessions in a creative space, and pursuing meaningful personal projects.

After completing a short lab orientation, you can reserve your time in the lab or stop by during our open lab hours. Our SFCC students are always welcome in The Collab Lab!

What You Can Expect

  • Guided Experiences

Students and faculty can come into the lab to participate in guided activities with our highly trained technical staff, including workshops, courses, certifications, and more.

  • State-Of-The-Art Equipment

We selected our lab equipment carefully to ensure that it both provides real-world experience and is usable by students with minimal training.

  • Independent Study

Students and faculty can reserve individual pieces of equipment to be used for independent projects or to hone your technical skills.
